Dance for All (DFA) offers a 18 month programme on which students learn skills that bridge the gap between being a dance student and becoming a professional dancer. Applications are open to any senior dance students, 18yrs-21yrs who have previous dance training, and would like to pursue a career in dance.

Two groups of DFA students were invited to perform for our Honorary Life Patron Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s celebrations of the 60th Wedding Anniversary of him and his wife Leah at the City Hall on 2nd July, with the proceeds of this prestigious and special event going towards the Desmond Tutu Foundation
The schools lecdem/performances were continued with a performance at Springfield Convent Junior School on the 23rd June.
DFA’s Bridging Programme students participated in the International African Theatre and Dance festival hosted at Artscape from the 22nd – 17th June. The workshops were hosted to inspire young people with a diverse offering of drama / dance activities. This also gave our African Dance teachers an opportunity to be part of the teaching staff for the festival.
