Students on the Senior Ballet Programme receive a scholarship administered by DFA to attend Alexander Sinton High School in Athlone. The scholarship pays for school fees and books, dance training and togs, transport and medical expenses. The students take Dance as a Matriculation subject at school and their dance training is intensified, with the vision of preparing them for careers in the performing arts.

Junior Ballet Programme
Talented students from the Cape Town Outreach Programme are identified to join the Junior Ballet Programme (JBP), which has more emphasis on technical dance training. Margie Sim (P.D.T.C-A.R.A.D) heads the JBP and is the principal dance teacher for this programme. The core JBP group is based in Nyanga and is taught classical ballet by Margie three days a week.
The Junior Ballet Programme works as a feeder for the Senior Ballet Programme.
